Job DescriptionAn employer is looking for a Physician Biller/Insurance Verification Specialist in the Los Angeles, CA area. This person will not be patient facing - but will be doing a large amount of data entry of patient demographics into EPIC. They will be creating/onboarding the patient profiles within EPIC and completing the patient registration as needed with all of the insurance information as well. This individual most be knowledgeable of all insurance types and billing as they will assist with claim edits, charge review, and releasing claims for the billing team to process. This will be on-site Monday through Friday with a 4-6 week training from 8:00am-6:00pm. Once fully trained the shift will be 12pm-8:30pm. This is expected to be a 3-6 month contract with the potential for extensions.
