FX is seeking a Jr. Print Designer to design materials for press kits, presentation decks, and events. This role will also version layouts and research artists, photographers and design and packaging techniques.Primary Responsibilities:
Assist designers with the creation of printed and digital media guides for shows and campaigns including typographic and layout solutions.
Design materials and branding for promotional events including Comic Con, premieres and other experiential events.
Research tear, inspiration, artists, and other design and packaging techniques to identify trends.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong understanding of typography
Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat), Microsoft Office Suite, and Keynote
Conceptual thinker with an outstanding eye for color
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year prior work experience
Required Education:
4 year degree, preferably in art, graphic design or advertising or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in California is $57,900 to $77,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
