Description Job Title: Lead Project Manager - Governance and Software Applications SecurityLocation: Los Angeles, CA. Must by hybrid onsite in 2-3 days per weekSalary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 per year + 10-15% Bonus + Company Provided VehicleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, responsible for Governance and Software Applications Security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in Applications Security and Compliance, Systems and Data Security.Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 4-5 direct reports, collaborating closely with business partners, including Information Operations (Inf Ops) and Information Security (Info Sec) teams.

Oversee the Application Managed Services (AMS) team responsible for customer facing applications.

Manage systems and security upgrades, infrastructure refreshes, enhancements, and bug updates.

Govern Release Management processes, ensuring smooth and efficient software deployments.

Address Technical Debt with a focus on Operations, Compliance, and Cybersecurity.

Work on .NET and middleware integrations for applications.

Develop operational reporting and dashboards to provide insights into project performance.

Collaborate with Solutions Architect to ensure security measures are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Actively engage with infrastructure hosting and information security teams to lead and mitigate cyber risks.

Understand and manage on-shore/off-shore teams effectively.

Implement QA best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Demonstrate a "Quality Orientated" background, focusing on delivering high-quality results.

Take on security-related responsibilities, including identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.

Collaborate heavily with other areas of IT to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Applications Security and Compliance, Systems and Data Security.

Experience with SOX and PII required.

Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Familiarity with .NET and middleware integrations.

Experience with operational reporting and dashboard development.

Knowledge of on-shore/off-shore team dynamics.

Quality-oriented mindset with a background in QA practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
