Description A leading national law firm specializing in labor and employment law with over 200 attorneys across multiple offices, is seeking a motivated and talented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.This legal assistant will join a firm that is recognized for their expertise in all areas of labor and employment law and are committed to providing exceptional client service and fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment where our employees can thrive. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Conducting legal research and preparing case materials
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
Managing attorney and client calendars and files
Scheduling depositions, conferences, and hearings
Assisting with discovery and document production
Communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, and other staff
Staying up-to-date on relevant changes in labor and employment law

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Familiarity with labor and employment law (a plus)
