Description ROBERT HALF LEGAL has partnered with a boutique, plaintiff employment & class action firm in their search for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Brentwood, CA.Key Responsibilities:
Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence related to litigation.
Manage and organize case files and documentation.
Coordinate and schedule case calendars, court dates, meetings, and depositions.
Conduct basic legal and factual research to assist attorneys.
Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and other legal staff.
Maintain electronic databases and paper files.
Keep updated with court procedures and rules.
Prepare Table of Contents (TOC) and Table of Authorities (TOA) for court filings, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of legal briefs.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
Knowledge of court rules, litigation procedures and protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Proven experience as a legal secretary, or relevant role in the legal field.
