We are looking for someone to live (free) in our home 24/7, 365 days a year (yes, you can plan vacation time in advance).
Option 1: Full time paid live in nanny/housekeeper.
Option 2: Live-in overnight nanny, help just in mornings and evenings in exchange for free rent. (You can be in college or working elsewhere during the day).
Option 3: In event we hire someone from option 2, we are also then looking for a daytime nanny/housekeeper
We are a 30 year old married couple. Both of us are business/legal professionals.
We have a 2.5 year old girl and 5 month old boy who are both absolutely adorable.
We have an extra bedroom (with a 2nd bathroom off of the hallway near that room).
The plan is that the 2.5 year old will go out to a separate daycare in September, but then we will likely also have a friend's baby join ours in our home, so from 9 to 3 on weekdays, it will be 2 babies and no toddler, and the rest of the time will be 1 toddler and 1 baby.
Meaning, there will be total 2 children at home at any given time.
We are open to having 1 person full time or 2 people part time (only 1 would be live-in), which can be someone from 7/8/9 am to 3/4/5 pm and then someone else in the evenings and overnight. Or some other mix to handle childcare and cleaning/housework separately.
Requirements:
1. You should be in this country legally (small chance we can help you with that in unique situations), speak English, and have a driver's license.
2. Having your own car is helpful but not necessary. You can use our cars when available.
3. You should be available in the evenings at least 1 to 3 times per week to babysit (when kids are sleeping). We can be flexible which days of the week.
4. The 5 month old still wakes up at night sometimes. You should be able to put him back to sleep, which usually takes just a few minutes. This means having the baby in your room over night until he sleeps through the night consistently.
5. I don't mean "open minded" in a perverted way, but you should be chill enough that you don't seem like an intrusion into our private space where we relax and live. We've had full time housekeepers/nannys before, but not live-in or overnight. So yes, you should at least be chill and open minded in the traditional sense.
6. No drugs, excessive alcohol, nothing illegal. No having friends over without explicit permission.
7. Be clean and organized. Have your sht together.
8. You should preferably like kids and babies lol. Experience preferred but not absolutely necessary.
Salary:
This will vary a lot depending on your actual hours, etc.
It can range from simply free rent in exchange for a little help in the mornings and babysitting some evenings, to $700 - $1000 per week plus free rent for full time. Exact amount and details depending on experience, abilities, and job description.
