Job DescriptionAn esteemed construction employer is looking for an MEP Manager I to join their team locally in Los Angeles and help manage the MEP aspects of construction projects. This role's major duties include:Coordinating work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors,and site subcontractors.Managing estimating and bidding processes and tracking costs to manage MEPproject budget.Writes contracts and purchase orders using company boilerplate language to documentall ordered work, schedules, projected costs, change orders and technical specifications.Participating in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns.Implementing project schedules including each task associated with project completion.Documenting the technical, financial and personnel aspects of each project.Reviewing project drawings, specifications, submittals and change orders.Providing field support to construction superintendents to help ensure contractcompliance, quality control and maintenance of a safe work site.Tracking project phase completion against milestonesPay range is $50-55/hourWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
