Join us.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAECOM is seeking two senior Pursuit Directors/Capture Managers in the Global Water Business Line.Water is at the core of what we do, and we take pride in supporting communities and clients through impactful infrastructure projects and programs. This marks an exciting moment to be part of AECOM’s expanding global water business, where you can work in a collaborative consulting engineering environment.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to position for high profile water and complex integrated infrastructure projects/programs throughout the Americas and globally.Reporting to the Director of Capture Management for the global water business at AECOM, your primary focus will be on mega/major opportunities in the Americas with occasional global pursuit leadership.You will work in partnership with passionate client account managers, proposal managers, market sector leaders, regional business leaders, and technical staff to successfully position for and capture our most important opportunities.To succeed in this role, you need to be able to oversee positioning, bid, and interview strategies, lead a team in thinking creatively, and provide leadership in contracting, pricing, teaming, and risk management to produce attractive, client-focused deliverables. It also requires strong relationship-building skills and strategies, including developing relationships with leaders around the globe.The ideal candidate is an accomplished senior business development leader who understands clients and their missions, with strong project and program management skills, has familiarity with all client types (municipal, federal, private), the water industry, is conversant in engineering terminology, policies, organizational structure, and is able to operate with minimal supervision. This role requires extensive leadership coupled with strategic thinking.You can be located in any major city throughout the United States with the ability to travel and work efficiently virtually. This role is a critical position to drive the success of AECOM’s global water business at one of the largest engineering firms in the world.EXPECTATIONS OF THE ROLE

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 15 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education; including at a Director / Vice President Level, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, and at least 4 years of leadership experience.

Experience must demonstrate skills in business development strategy, team leadership, client discovery and the development of compelling value propositions that meet client’s needs.

Requires flexibility to travel on a regular basis.

Proven strong strategic writing, illustration, and communication skills.

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Bonus opportunities are tied to both company and individual performance and vary from year-to-year. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000. Please note that this role can be based anywhere in the United States.

Due to the partial remote/virtual nature of this position, relocation assistance is not available.
