As Revenue Manager, you are an ambassador for our exceptional offerings of Fairmont Century Plaza. Reporting through to the Director of Revenue Management, you will liaise between multiple departments to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our clients.What you will be doing:Accurately generate and update various data-driven reports and serve as support for reporting and analytical needs of the Commercial team and ad-hoc and project-based reports for senior leadership.Assume ownership of some external reporting tools such as, but not limited to, OTA Insight, TravelClick Demand360 and Agency360, Smith Travel Research (STR), Google Analytics, CBRE.Create reports, presentations, etc. to provide regular updates on hotel, competitor, and market performance.Maintain accuracy of information/data and enhance automation efforts in reporting tools.Maintain accurate guest room rates and inventory on all booking channels (brand websites, OTAs, Guest Reservation Center, etc.).Manage overbooking, restrictions, and pricing in conjunction with the Director of Revenue Management.Accurately load and modify room rates and special offers in various systems and booking channels.Participate in business review meetings and commercial strategy meetings.Engage with the property reservations team to ensure effective communication and implementation of pricing strategies and offers.Monitor changes in inventory and provide guidance on the impact of current strategiesIn conjunction with the hotel reservations team, monitor group block performance and cutoff dates to optimize performance.Perform regular reviews of competitive hotels to compare and contrast guest room rates and offers, meetings and events pricing and offers, and other revenue-generating departments as applicable (restaurants, bars, spas, etc.).Maintain and continually improve techniques, tools, and technology to maximize productivity for self and colleagues.What is in it for you:Salary Range: USD$90,000 to USD$110,000 gross.Discounted hotel rooms, food & beverage rates and spa services to employees at our sister properties around the globe.Duty meal in our staff cafeteria and dry cleaning of work attireLearning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potentialOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and WATCH
