Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM is looking to hire a Senior Director, Global Technology (Microsoft) Client Account Manager. This role will be a primary contact and leader for AECOM’s relationship with one of our largest and most significant global clients, with projected annual NSR of $30m to +$50m from multiple business lines and across multiple countries. Responsible for developing, growing and sustaining AECOMs business in the account. Coordinates AECOMs interactions with the client, to ensure consistent high quality of service across the globe and to resolve any delivery issues or conflicts. May have wider market sector or business development responsibilities.Location – Preferably US West Coast (Microsoft based just outside of Seattle) but can be located elsewhere in the US if existing strong relationships.Leading one of our largest Technology Client Accounts you will be an ambassador in the Technology sector community supporting our global Technology strategy and client focused deliver model. With experience in technical delivery of data centers, corporate real estate and infrastructure projects for tech firms, and a strong track record in tech firm client account management and business development; you will work with our regional delivery teams to provide innovative, industry leading solutions to our clients most complex challenges.Our tech firm clients are fast moving and demanding, with their key priorities for us being on-time delivery and quality at a price that offers value for money. You will bring demonstrable skills and experience in knowing the sector so you can speak their language. We are looking for someone who has experience in hands on delivery of mega or hyper scale data center and corporate real estate projects. You may already be working with one of our tech clients, or may have been in a previous delivery or business development role for a design or engineering consultancy. We are seeking a candidate with a deep seated interest in tech firm development who enjoys and holds a demonstrable track record in cultivating and providing solutions to clients.The successful candidate will have established relationships with clients in this sector.Job Duties:

Set a clear strategy to deliver profitable, organic growth of the client account, aligning with our global Technology sector strategy

Evaluate, develop and implement a short, medium and long-term business strategy for the continued growth of the client account

Provide visible, global-wide leadership for the client and the Technology sector as a whole. Be recognized by the client as a leader within AECOM able to add value and deliver successful outcomes

Build high performing global account team and lead internal network of regional leaders to deliver high quality services and secure repeat business

Actively support the attraction and retention of client account management talent by coaching and mentoring employees, providing career development plans and client succession plans

Provide leadership and direction to the global multi-disciplinary teams, and “discipline agnostic” leadership, promoting any or all of AECOM’s disciplines depending on client needs.

Establish effective management processes to ensure high quality delivery, client service and strong client relationships

Work across all of AECOM to bring the best solutions to our clients and priority pursuits

Work as an overlay sales specialist/subject matter expert selling complex data center and corporate real estate solutions.

Raise the external profile of AECOM within the Technology sector through thought leadership and conference speaking;

Grow and maintain a network with current and potential clients utilizing industry reputation, experience and knowledge to develop new prospects and expand existing business.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements :

BA/BS + EXTENSIVE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership

Significant experience in leading a growing global client account

Extensive experience in delivering significant data center and/or corporate real estate projects for Technology clients across the US and globally

Understands how to pull teams and solutions together from across the company (across disciplines and regions, including globally) to strengthen client relationships and achieve successful outcomes (client satisfaction, repeat business, high quality project delivery).

A strong collaborator who thrives in a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment

Self-motivated, strong leader with significant experience in a client facing role

Outstanding communication skills

Recognized industry leader who is well connected; active in the technology market, highly adept at networking and thought leader

Experience in handling strategic accounts and working through the full sales cycle of the opportunity

A high level understanding of how data centers work, and what the clients’ challenges are

Preferred Qualifications :

Significant experience in leading a Technology global client account

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Bonus opportunities are tied to both company and individual performance and vary from year-to-year. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000.
