Description A prestigious healthcare research institute is seeking a strong Senior Grant Accountant to join their organization. The Senior Grant Accountant will be responsible for pre and post award accounting functions such as month end close, journal entries, general ledger analysis, and ad-hoc reporting. The Grant Accountant will need to have familiarity with health grants and assisting with annual audit procedures. The Senior Grant Accountant will maintain accrued experiences, reconciliations, and support grant grant submissions. 2+ years finance and accounting experience in the healthcare or non-profit industries.
Prepare monthly journal entries for financial reporting to ensure materiality and accuracy are maintained.
Support month-end close, maintain accrued expenses, grant accounting, and support grant audits.
Perform monthly financial accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Systems experience with Sage Intacct and Excel are preferred (Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups).
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance is required
