Senior Receptionist

The Senior Receptionist serves as the face of the office, delivering a professional, welcoming, and high-quality front-of-house experience for clients, visitors, and employees within a well-established law firm. Working as part of a close-knit onsite team, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception services while supporting a busy office of approximately 120 employees, including 85 attorneys. Although "Senior" in title, this is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.This role is ideal for a dependable, personable, and proactive professional who enjoys building relationships and creating exceptional first impressions. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly and will confidently manage multiple responsibilities, including visitor management, communications, meeting coordination, and administrative support. They will also be comfortable using office technology and learning new systems, bringing a positive, adaptable approach and a strong commitment to service excellence. Flexibility is important, as business needs may occasionally require earlier start times to support meetings and events.Location: Century City, Los Angeles CAContract: Permanent, full timeShifts: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch breakWork model: Fully onsite Perform work in reception according to established proceduresAnswer and transfer incoming calls, often received on a multi-line phone system, in a professional, friendly, timely mannerWelcome clients and visitors to the office with warmth and professionalism Notify employees of visitor arrival and answer questionsGuide clients and visitors with appropriate instructions and hospitality for their needsProvide high level, front of house services to clients and visitorsUtilize appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all assigned workMeet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering work assignmentsCommunicate with peers, supervisor or client on job or deadline issuesHelp foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the client Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and informationPerforms Quality Assurance on own, and work of others, if requiredMay train more junior staff membersAssist office services or other peer teams with workload, as neededComplete other administrative tasks as assigned by managementTroubleshoot basic office equipment problemsAdhere to Williams Lea policies in addition to client site policiesUse equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner
