Let’s change the world.The Master Data Group (MDG) provides templating and scripting of the following systems for all Amgen Quality Control organizations:LIMS, Empower, LMES, CIMS, Tecan, and Chromeleon.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Associate Quality Control is to perform LMES templating and librarian activities. It is expected that the templating is performed in an optimal manner according to procedures, best practices and service level agreement to facilitate alignment and standardization across the QC network. Ancillary to this responsibility is the need to coordinate discussions with the site representatives to understand laboratory execution practices, and requirements to accurately convert source documents to QC system templates.Secondary responsibilities may require cross training in Empower, CIMS, LIMS, Chromeleon and/or Tecan templating to support the MDG team and the global QC network.Other roles in support of the aforementioned responsibilities include:Owner/Quality approval of qualification reports

Providing applicable performance metrics

Driving global alignment of the QC systems

Working with the QC network on the prioritization of requests

Ensuring training is up to date

OrBachelor’s degree & 2 years of quality or information systems experience

OrAssociate’s degree & 6 years of quality or information systems experience

OrHigh school diploma / GED & 8 years of quality or information systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in quality control (QC) laboratory testing

Experience in use of SmartLab, CIMS, LIMS and/or Empower

Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot laboratory testing technologies

Ability to work independently and deliver right first-time results

Knowledge of Data Integrity Requirements of QC systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Good Manufacturing Practices
