Applicant must be well experienced in new product development, capable of managing executive relationships providing insight and input to the launch of a new product offering, and versed in aligning technical resources towards strategic goal completion.· Applicant will work closely with designers, engineers, and business professionals in a collaborative environment.Characteristicsofresponsible projects/programs:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Leadsacomplexcross-functionalprogram .Meets frequently with high level executives of two companies to understand needs and organize resources to fulfill goals for a shared product development effort.· Facilitates the development of a charter and integrated timeline.Ensures that all functionsremain on schedule and that issues get escalated and resolved and that the program is completedsuccessfully.· Demonstratesaknowledgeofproject, product&program managementwithinthecontextofbusinessresults (businesscase attainment,largereconomicimplications,businessrisk,etc).· Facilitatesmeetingstoreviewactiveandpendingwork.Collaborates withcoreteam todevelopsolutionsandleadprojectteam(s)throughimplementationandcompletion.· Manages internalandexternalrelationshipsinsupportofprogram(s);maycontractandmanagevendors.· Interfacesdirectlywithclientstodefineprojectrequirements.Preparesscopeof work,projectdeliveryresource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, qualitycontrol, andriskidentification.· Implementscommunicationplanformeetingsandwrittenreports/meetingminutes tokeepclientandprojectresources informed.Facilitates projectmeetings.· Implementprojectdocumentationgovernancealignedwithcompanyandclientrequirements.Ensureprojectdataintegrityanddocumentation is accurate,timelyandcoordinated.· Tracksprogressofeachprojectagainstgoals,objectives,approvedbudgets,approvedtimelines.Reports· statusandvariances.Createsactionplanstomeetobjectives,budgetandschedule.· Implementschangemanagementroutinestoassesschangerequests,makerecommendations,secureclient approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope,budget,schedule,qualityandrisk.· Demonstrates ability to identifycomplex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop riskmitigationandcontingencyplans,andimplementactionplanstoreduceoreliminateprojectrisks.· Otherdutiesas assigned.QUALIFICATIONSToperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutysatisfactorily.Therequirementslistedbelowarerepresentative of theknowledge,skill, and/orabilityrequired.Reasonableaccommodationsmaybemadeto enableindividuals withdisabilitiestoperformtheessentialfunctions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor'sdegree(BA/BS)from4-yearcollegeoruniversity.Minimumsixyearsofrelatedexperience. PriorSupervisoryexperiencepreferred.Experience in hardware development, sensor market, smart buildings, and/or new product release is required.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESPgMP(ProgramManagementProfessional)orPMP(ProjectManagementProfessional)certificationsis a plus.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability torespond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches andarticlesusingdistinctivestyle.Abilitytomakeeffectiveandpersuasivepresentationsoncomplextopics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate andnegotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desiredaction.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
