Sr. Doc Specialist

Description Legal Assistants directly support lawyers and may be required to supervise other legal staff, such as legal secretaries or file clerks.Legal Assistants should have computer and technical knowledge as well as strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.Three to five years of legal experience in a law firm or other corporate legal department may be preferred.Your responsibilities in this role

Efficiently deal with matter management and record keeping

Form correspondence and memorandum

Inquire on and retrieve electronic documents from a variety of court and agency web sites

Organize computer database input and retrieval

Compile documents and assemble data as directed by lawyers and paralegals

Make sure copied documents are factual compared to originals

Make sure the photocopier and scanner are ready for documents

File documents and files into an electronic storage system

Perform word processing, filing and faxing tasks

Complete legal research and investigative tasks, including obtaining information or documents from outside parties, as directed Requirements - Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database

Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Word

Foundational knowledge in IBM Symphony

Experience with Software Programs

General familiarity with Troubleshoot

Comprehension of Track System

Wide ranging experience with Company Policy

Prior experience with Markings

Solid understanding of Multiple Projects Simultaneously

Operations experience

Hands-on experience with Production Environment

Previous experience working with PC OS

Quality experience with Microsoft Office Suites

Solid understanding of customer service

Workstation Support experience highly desired

Well-founded grasp of Vendors

Practical knowledge of Execute

Experience with Functional Knowledge

Solid understanding of Software Application

Documentation experience preferred

Earlier work involving Quality Control

Proven knowledge of Hiring Processes

Deep understanding of Redlining

Skills in A Plus

Perks experience required

Good understanding of Word Processing

Drafting legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenas; transactional documents, such as trusts, wills, contracts and real estate leases; and closing documents

Conducting routine discovery

Experience assisting lawyers in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trials and conferences; completing many administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases or transactions

Investigating the factual evidence of a transaction or case and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams to display information

2+ years of relevant experience
