We're a novel semiconductor company in Los Angeles that's made a name for ourselves by designing and developing efficient power devices and products. Using GaN technology, we streamline device manufacturing capabilities while achieving higher power density, higher frequency, and higher efficiency products. We recently raised another round of funding and are expanding our product suite! We are looking for a highly experienced Applications Engineer to uncover new product opportunities, develop a product roadmap and architect applications/simulations to showcase our state-of-the-art technology.


You'll interact with our tier 1 customers and be integral in conceiving new products!

What You Will Be Doing

- Building applications of our state-of-the-art GaN power ICs
- Creating customer prototypes with a mind for understanding requirements and problem-solving

- Define product roadmap and new ICs, architect new products and help expand our product offerings

- R&D and customer-facing responsibilities

- Define market opportunities for GaN Power electronics

What You Need for this Position

A Master's or PhD in a relevant STEM field plus at least 4 years of professional experience in a Semiconductor or Power Supply company AND


- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with HIGH VOLTAGE Power ICs, Power Devices, Power Supply, Controllers, MOSFET or similar

- Applications engineering experience

- Strong experience with simulation, layout, magnetic, thermal & reference design

- Experience with LTspice, Simplis, Matlab, and Ansoft FEA or similar tools

- Familiarity with GaN (a plus, but not required)

- Strong communication skills - customer-facing role

- Ability to execute, hands-on, in a startup environment

- Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles (relocation provided if needed
