As a member of our Bagel Line, you are responsible for delivering on our promise of fresh, beautiful open-faced bagels. Our customers are excited to be here and we want them to get their food as quickly as possible, while maintaining the standards that they have come to expect from Courage Bagels. To thrive in our high-paced environment, this role requires kitchen experience in a fast paced environment, problem solving skills, the ability to integrate and thrive on an experienced team and lastly, true enthusiasm for fresh, nourishing food.
You will be responsible for…
Reading order tickets accurately to ensure 100% accuracy
Preparing food to the Courage Bagel standard every time.
Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of your station
Upholding/maintaining the positive energy of the team
What we need from you:
Open availability Thursday through Monday from 6:30am to 3pm
Based locally to the 90029 zip code with reliable transportation to work
Current California Food Handler Certification, or commitment to get one upon hiring.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience working in a food preparation role.
Excellent face-to-face communication skills with team members and sometimes guests
Willingness to go the extra mile to make our customers feel welcome and cared for.
High-level of patience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Ability to understand instructions and deliver results without constant supervision.
Urgency and eye to maintain aesthetic and cleanliness standards.
Ability to move for 5-8hrs and safely lift 30 lbs.

Knowledge and love for high-quality food and ingredients
