Le Coupé Fried Chicken, Los Angeles’ award-winning fried chicken restaurant, is looking for a skilled Butcher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.
We’re looking for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable — someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and quality. This is not a “learn as you go” position — strong knife skills and prior butchering experience are required.
Key Responsibilities
Butcher chicken daily to our exact in-house specifications
Marinate and bread chicken for service following established recipes
Prepare sauces, slaws, and other menu items to specific guidelines following recipes
Maintain a clean, organized prep area and follow all food safety standards
Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and management
Requirements
Proven experience as a butcher or prep cook in a fast-paced fully scratch kitchen
Excellent knife skills and comfort handling raw poultry
Must speak and understand English enough to communicate with our team
Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
Able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality

Location: Le Coupé Fried Chicken – 709 N Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Part time, Mornings , 7am-9am start, 6 hour shift
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience
