MUST HAVE A VALID LICENSE
We are a community-based food service company providing meals to the homeless community here in Los Angeles. We have about 400 people we serve 7 days a week, 3 meals a day. We are looking for a driver to deliver meals to our various sites on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Deliveries), Wednesday+ Fridays (Shopping)- as needed. They would also pick up/shop for supplies from our vendors.
We need someone dedicated who will go above and beyond to help us ensure the operation has all it needs to provide meals to this community successfully.
This position is Monday-Friday (Friday being the lightest day).
Delivery Job Duties
- Check the driver checklist for each site delivery before dispatching
- Unload boxes/bags at each site accordingly
- Ensure each meal, sides, and condiments are present
- Give great customer service
- Relay any issues to Management immediately
- Put all boxes and carts back where they belong
- Return driver checklist to Director of Operations
Shopping Job Duties
- Pick up orders
- Review orders to ensure orders are accurate
- Conduct price comparison while shopping
- Shop for supplies based on the needs of the kitchen operation
- Put supplies away properly, make sure inventory looks neat
- Check with the Chef/Operations Director

-Contact stores to check inventory for pickup
- Communicate any issues to Management
