Hi my name is Chris. I am a chef/owner and partner with a major nationwide meal subscription company.I have been partners with said company for close to 10 years and presently have an opening for an experienced Executive Chef to run my LA team.
I am presently based out of NYC, Brooklyn. and presently have seven teams in 5 cities across the country. I have had this team in LA for close to two years now and I am looking for an proven Executive or Corporate Chef to take my team to higher level then where that team is now.
I am just not satisfied with my leadership there- why we can talk about later but its time for a change.
Presently i have a solid team, 15 employees producing apx 8,000 meals a week with peak sales at 2,500-3,000 meals on a prime day.
Im making money in the Los angeles market but theres room to grow, i have held back in that market because of distance being out of New Yornk and not feeling confident in leadership so in essennce I am not even scraping the surface of potential for the LA market.
Obviously food quality and making incredible food is what its all about, its what our subscription customers pay for and care about but it is important to mention we work in a commisary style setting, sharing space with other chef owners, in a very controlled environment with strict oversight and safetly standards run on a higher level then most typical food service operations.
I am looking for someone with an all around balance of kitchen skills, bilingual is mandatory, excellent cooking skills and general knowledge, software literate, high volumne experience, strict safety and santitary practices/certificates, excellent people skills dealimg with people on all skill sets and levels, and always in control and profesional.
I need someone that can handle the administrative expectations as well- scheduiling, managing a time clock, someone with a clear understanding of Californai labor, that kind of stuff.
This can be a straight salary/ compensation type of pay structure or a more comprehensive package with performance bonuses, there is major room for growth for an ideal candidate for both the LA market or markets nationwide.
