We are seeking an experienced line cook to work here at Ivanhoe in Silverlake. Must have experience with American cuisine for brunch, lunch and dinner menu items. We are looking to fill 5 AM shifts. 3 on the weekdays and 2 mandatory shifts on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
-Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and visually appealing manner
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
-Monitor inventory and notify management of any supply needs
-Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a cook specializing in American cuisine
-Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients and procedures
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitary practices
