Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Prep Cook at Le Coupe, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring all food items are prepared to our exacting standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for menu items, including but not limited to: butchering chicken, marinating and dredging chicken, peeling vegetables, making sauces, etc.
Ensure all food items are stored properly and comply with health regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all kitchen standards and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other prep cooks and kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Follow recipes accurately and efficiently, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Requirements:
Must be able to fluently speak, understand, and communicate in English.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a prep cook in a scratch kitchen.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
Ability to work cleanly and abide by all health regulations and kitchen standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Shift Hours for this Position:
Wednesday- Saturday 8am-3:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-9:00pm
Full time and Part time Available
