Position: Front of House Server / Barista / Cashier
Compensation:
Base pay: $17.50–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Additional compensation: With tips, total hourly compensation averages approximately $32.00/hour

Minimum Requirements (Please ensure you meet all of the following before applying):
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 1 year experience as a barista
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
Weekend availability required
Must be able to work efficiently in a high-intensity environment
Strong time management and ability to complete prep work independently
Valid California Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Job Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming environment
Accurately take and input guest orders, noting special requests and food allergies in accordance with our allergy protocol
Prepare coffee and tea drinks to recipe standards
Run food, bus tables, and maintain cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and restrooms
Keep pastry and beverage stations stocked and organized
Operate the register accurately and handle payments
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
Receive and properly store incoming mail and packages
Maintain the front garden area as needed

This position is part of a dynamic, team-oriented front-of-house environment in a fast-paced café. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
