Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bicycle Food Delivery Person to join our team. As a Bicycle Food Delivery Person, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from our restaurants to customers in a timely and professional manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our commitment to sustainability through eco-friendly transportation.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers by bicycle within designated delivery areas.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, verifying order accuracy, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
Navigate delivery routes using GPS or provided maps, ensuring on-time delivery.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines while riding a bicycle.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery equipment, including bicycles and delivery bags.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and restaurant staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license or state ID.
Strong familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in food delivery or customer service is a plus but not required.
