Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and standards
Assist in the development of new menu items, taking into consideration customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meets our high standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a scratch made kitchen restaurant or similar establishment
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary fundamentals
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
