Part-Time Sushi Chef Wanted - Join Our Team!
Are you passionate about sushi and have an interest in helping us develop a grab and go sushi space at a small college? We’re looking for an experienced and creative Part-Time Sushi Chef to join our team!
Position: Part-Time Sushi Chef
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood)
Hours: TBD (10am-3pm and 4-9pm)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes.
Ensure all food items are prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency.
Assist with menu development and special requests.
Review inventory before handing off to Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various sushi types and Japanese cuisine.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work days/nights and weekends, no late nights unless we have special catering events which you can choose to be a part of.
