European-inspired boutique Bakery/Deli has an immediate openings for experienced Pastry Chef and Pastry Cook. The successful candidates must be creative, reliable and be able to work in a fast paced team environment while taking an enormous amount of pride in his/hers work.
Experience 1-2 years experience with baking morning pastries, including laminated dough. After the morning pastries are made, the rest of the day is spent doing pastries production, filling pastry orders and filling the pastry cases.
Morning position is for 4-5 days, 32-40 hours per week with weekend availability.
Must be mature, self starter, and reliable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time.
Candidates with little need for supervision are preferred.
Fluent in English is a plus.
