Job Description
The Sous Chef role expects that you work closely with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine, duties will consist of assisting the Executive and Chef de Cuisine with daily kitchen operating tasks.
Responsibilities
Manage daily kitchen operations including, but not limited to:
Ability to teach and run all stations with precision and consistency
Daily inventory and ordering
Auditing all kitchen areas and staff for compliance with health code
Assisting CDC on training and further education
Assisting CDC with staff scheduling
Lead by example and maintain positive work environment
Work under the guidance of our CDC and Executive Chef perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Comply with state and federal nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements
2 years+ as Sous Chef
Unprecedented work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to take direction well and pivot priorities quickly and efficiently
Thinks clearly, quickly, and maintains concentration during high pressure situations
