Openings for weekends and afternoon-evening.
Responsible person to assist developmentally disabled adults in a home-like setting in Van Nuys (near Van Nuys Blvd. and Sherman Way). Work in a six-bed facility, assist with personal hygiene, teach independent living skills, and drive the company van to transport clients when necessary.
Light housekeeping and cooking are required. Must have good references, a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, and be a team player. Candidates must pass a criminal background check without felony convictions or misdemeanors such as DUIs. Need recent employment physical and TB test. Must have or obtain a CPR and First Aid certificate. Experience with adults with developmental disabilities is helpful. Flexible schedule.
Must possess a valid California driver's license and have an excellent driving record. Auto insurance carrier requires drivers to have had a driver’s license for at least 5 years. Should live in the San Fernando Valley.
