Join our team at Keen Home Care where we provide Private Duty In-Home Care for seniors in our community! Our office is located in Long Beach, Ca. We schedule home care aides (HCA's) in the homes of our seniors living in Long Beach, Palos Verdes, Cerritos, Cypress, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Newport Beach, Downey, and the surrounding areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Home Care Scheduler coordinates and maintains scheduling for KEEN Home Care clients and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. H.S. Diploma or GED.

2. Prior scheduling or related home care experience preferred.

3. Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.

4. Basic medical terminology.

5. Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

6. Must be a team player who enjoys working with people.

7. Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.

8. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

9. Ability to multi-task various things at the same time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understands and adheres to established KEEN Home Care policies and procedures.

2. Creates and maintains staff schedules.

3. Provides caregiver staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leave.

4. Enters scheduling data in KEEN Home Care Clear Care Program.

5. Contacts caregivers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.

6. Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans and updates in the KEEN clear care program.

7. Enters staff and client information into database.

8. Maintains staff and client database (e.g. CQA, dates and reminders of TB, client admission, client hospital admission and discharge).

9. Maintains staff and client statistics, and reports.

10.Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.

JOB TYPE AND SCHEDULE

Full Time. Monday to Friday. Some Weekends. Holidays Required

On-call for staffing call-offs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Works indoors at the KEEN Home Care office. Be available to visit clients/families in the field as needed.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

Additional Compensation: $125 for on-call weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

On call

Overtime
