We are a growing wellness-focused medical practice looking for a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where patient care, growth, and innovation are valued.

About the Role:

This dual role combines front desk responsibilities with hands-on clinical support. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish & English) highly empathetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn while providing excellent care and service to our members.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

Certified Medical Assistant with valid phlebotomy certification (required).

CPR/BLS certification (required).

Experience

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a medical assistant and medical office receptionist role.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Telehealth support experience is a plus.

Clinical Skills

Proficient in obtaining vital signs and performing phlebotomy.

Skilled in administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.

Able to assist with basic clinical procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records and comply with protocols.

Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols.

Administrative & Front Desk Skills

Experience greeting patients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments in a professional, warm, and welcoming manner.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively to maintain a smooth daily office flow in a small office environment.

Proficiency in inventory management, ordering and tracking supplies to ensure the clinic is well-stocked.

Familiarity with patient intake and insurance verification.

Technology Skills

Tech-savvy and comfortable with troubleshooting software, devices, and office equipment.

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Canva or similar tools.

Experience with social media management to support practice visibility and promotions.

Language Skills

Bilingual (Spanish/English) – fluent in speaking, reading, and writing (required).

Medical Spanish translator certification (preferred).

Personal Qualities

Highly empathetic and compassionate, with strong patient-centered communication skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Team-oriented but able to work independently in a small-practice setting.

Adaptable, ambitious, and eager to learn new skills.

Interest in professional growth as the practice expands.

Schedule: Part-time, weekdays
