Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across our programs for adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting both announced and unannounced site visits to group locations in San Fernando Valley, West Los Angeles, and Orange County, performing weekly check-ins, and ensuring compliance with state and agency standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining high service standards. This position will work under the supervision of the Executive and Program Directors to ensure continuous improvement and compliance across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits (announced and unannounced) to group sites in San Fernando Valley, West Los Angeles, and Orange County to observe and evaluate program compliance and quality of services.

Perform weekly check-ins with staff to address ongoing quality assurance needs.

Review and audit case notes, training records, and other documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Provide feedback and support to staff based on observations, focusing on continuous improvement.

Assist in developing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects.

Maintain organized records of all quality assurance activities and findings.

Communicate findings to program directors and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Collaborate closely with Executive and Program Directors for guidance and oversight of quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to travel frequently between program sites.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and make sound judgments during site visits.

Proficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and any program-specific software (e.g., Therap).
