Well established property management company is seeking to hire an experienced, reliable Maintenance Technician for 200+unit senior community in Lakewood/Long Beach area.
As a member of our Maintenance team, you will need to:
Have a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience and a solid understanding of general maintenance for apartment communities
Be a team player, delivering the best experience to residents
Be respectful to residents, staff and vendors alike
Remain cool and calm during maintenance emergencies and quickly resolve them
Be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities smoothly
Have knowledge of and experience with Material Safety Data Sheets
Comply with company and CalOsha safety policies and procedures
Comply with Fair Housing regulations
As a member of our Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Vacant apartment turnovers or “make-readies”
Plumbing repairs
Minor electrical repairs
Appliance repairs
Drywall; painting
Locks; rekeying
Smoke Detectors
Routine preventive grounds maintenance and repairs
As a member of our Maintenance team, you will be required to:
Rotate on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
Be available to work some weekends, as needed
Be professional in appearance, conduct and performance
Have your own set of tools
Valid Driver License and auto insurance
