Job Description:
Join our team at Contents by Save The Day, where we handle our clients' personal property with care and precision during their most challenging times. As a Contents Specialist, you will play a crucial role in handling and protecting items impacted by damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory: Conduct thorough inventories of client items affected by damage, ensuring detailed documentation and assessment.
- Packing and Labeling: Carefully pack, label, and organize items to maintain their integrity and simplify identification processes.
- Item Protection: Wrap furniture and large items securely to prevent any further damage.
- Transportation: Load and transport items from the job site to our warehouse, maintaining safety and organization.
- Customer Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on the status of their belongings.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee the storage and organization of items within our warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient system.
- Delivery Coordination: Manage and execute the careful return of items to the customer’s residence upon project completion.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company and regulatory safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
License Required:
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience:
1 year of prior experience in contents handling, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Characteristics: High attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Benefits: Paid sick time
Shift: 8 hour shift
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
