We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, as well as a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and manufacturer's specifications.
- Inspect existing systems to ensure compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating pipes and fittings.
- Troubleshoot and repair leaks and other issues with the sprinkler system.
- Read blueprints and schematics to identify the location of pipes and fittings.
- Utilize a caliper to measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Cut and thread pipes to fit into fire sprinkler fittings.
- Bend and shape pipes to create custom connections.
- Weld and fabricate custom fittings and connections as needed.
- Build and test new fire sprinkler systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a fire sprinkler installation or maintenance role.
- Proven experience with pipefitting, welding, and plumbing.
- Strong understanding of local codes and regulations.
- Experience with fire sprinkler system design and installation.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings.
Skills

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
