Client Description:
Our client is a large, well-known beverage company in the San Fernando area, producing some of the best energy drinks on the market. They have distribution and processing plants across Southern California and are committed to quality production and safety in their facilities.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner to join our client's sanitation team. The primary responsibility will be to clean and sanitize industrial machinery and production areas using light chemicals like degreasers, sanitizers, and neutralizers. This is a physical role, with heavy lifting and exposure to a cold and wet environment as part of the work. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Key Responsibilities
Perform industrial cleaning and sanitation tasks in various areas of the facility
Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas
Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning and sanitizing processes
Document chemical usage as required
Wash bins, shovels, and other utensils used during production
Act as a substitute for other positions as needed
Ensure cleanliness and safety compliance in production areas
Operate power equipment such as floor sweepers, vacuums, scrubbers, mops, and power washers
Work closely with business units to ensure SQF/MCS compliance
Maintain cleanliness of the facility according to OSHA and FDA regulations
Adhere to all company policies related to sanitation and safety
- Requirements
Must be 18+ years of age
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and holidays
Previous experience in custodial, warehouse, or commercial cleaning preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
May be required to work a 6-day schedule occasionally
Knowledge of food processing and production sanitation practices is a plus

Night shift, from 10:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Exposure to cold and wet environments
Ensuring compliance with GMP, SQF, and safety regulations
