We are seeking organized Inventory Clerks to join our clients team for a 3-6 month project, possibly longer. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and assisting with inventory audits. As new shipments arrive, the Inventory Clerk will be tasked with opening boxes, counting materials, and placing them in the correct locations based on order numbers (e.g., 22W9 – 01 vs 22W9 – 02).
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Pay range: $18-$19/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all inventory data is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
Perform regular inventory counts and audits to verify stock levels.
Check incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Place inventory in designated areas according to order numbers.
Identify and report any inventory discrepancies to the purchasing department.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
