About the Role: TEMP TO HIRE
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at a multifamily apartment community. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to manage work orders, vendors, and maintenance staff while ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders and projects.
Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC repair, appliance repair, and unit turns.
Manage preventive maintenance schedule for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and coordinate unit turnover.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service vendors.
Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in property maintenance, preferably in multifamily housing.
Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience required.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.
EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
