PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED

$12.50 an hour

*Must be available for occasional weekend days or nights

*Part time position (30 hours a week)

*Hours - flexible - approximately 10 a.m. to 5 pm four days a week.

Responsibilities

•Clean 4 bedroom house, making beds, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, patio, porch

•Change linens weekly or as necessary, towels

•Provide adequate supply of toilet paper, soap , tissue, and other supplies

•Pick up meal trays, glasses, newspapers, etc.

•Vacuum carpets moving furniture as necessary, dust furniture

•Gather and do all laundry for a 4 person family

•Ironing when needed, put clothing up paying attention to what goes where

* Attention to detail.

* Sweeps and mops floors.

* Vacuums carpets.

* Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.

* Empties and cleans trash containers.

* Wipes down surfaces.

* Makes up beds and changes linens as required.

* Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses, dog or cat issues

* Clear yard of pet litter, trash

* Put out trash once a week

* Take dog on a half hour walk each visit or take him to dog park

* Clean cat litter boxes, keep them tidy

* Do errands like pick up coffee or groceries

* Drop or pick up kids from school, take them to sports or classes, playdates or drive them and friends to recreational activities

* Get groceries/supplies/pharmacy items as needed, help keep grocery list up-to-date

* Answer door, sign for deliveries

* Help organize house

* Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Utmost discretion and confidentiality

• Working knowledge of service and laundry

• Prefer experience in a larger busy home

• Must have cleaning and laundry skills

• Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal English

• Must be helpful, patient, cheerful, be resourceful and have a positive attitude

• Must be good with children (tween and teen)

• Must be organized, dependable cooperative, and possess good standards of cleanliness and order

Payment once weekly on Fridays
