We are looking for a reliable and motivated White Glove Furniture Mover & Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering, wrapping, and moving custom high-end furniture to clients across the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate should have experience driving a box truck, be comfortable with handling delicate and high-value furniture, and possess a strong focus on customer service. You will be required to handle pieces with care, lift up to 75 lbs daily, and be on your feet and moving throughout the day. Fluency in English is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Furniture Delivery & Setup – Safely load, transport, and unload custom, high-end furniture to customer locations across Los Angeles, ensuring items are protected during transit and handled with care.
Furniture Wrapping & Protection – Carefully wrap and protect furniture before transporting to prevent damage during delivery.
Furniture Moving / Install – Assist with moving and placing furniture in customers' homes or businesses according to their specifications.
Customer Interaction – Provide professional, courteous customer service, ensuring satisfaction during deliveries and setups.
Vehicle Maintenance – Ensure the box truck is kept clean, organized, and in good working condition. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections as required.
Inventory Management – Ensure items are properly documented and accounted for before leaving the job site, obtaining signatures on work orders.
Safety & Compliance – Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when handling furniture and driving the delivery vehicle. Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a driver, mover, or in a similar delivery role (experience handling high-end furniture is a plus)
Experience driving a box truck in the Los Angeles area
Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs daily and work in physically demanding environments
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues (experience with truck maintenance is a plus)
