We have a very strange situation. We are a business that occupies a facility that has several rooms that each have a bathroom and shower. Part of the compensation for employees is that they can use the rooms as they see fit. Some of the employees have elected to live in their rooms. We've been doing this for 20 years and have never had a problem until now. ANd no, we have no lease agreements.
One of the employees started using drugs and has become violent, destructive, and a nuisance. We ended their employment and asked them to leave, they have refused and are now squatting (it has been over 2 months). There was an incident in which she threatened and attacked an elder employee who works/lives here. The employee filed for a restraining order but was not granted it by the judge because the attack was not violent enough.
We were advised that we could file for an "elder abuse" motion because this person regularly interacts with the elder.
We now have NEW evidence that should help with filing for elder abuse; however, we desperately need a Change of Venue because we need a new Judge. The judge in our district does not like the Elder who was abused.
So, we need a Lawyer who can represent the elder and file for Elder Abuse and ALSO get us a Change of Venue to another court if that is at all possible.
We are also open to help from a Paralegal who can at least advise us, help us file, and point us to a lawyer.
