Our boutique workers' compensation law firm is seeking an attorney to assist with deposition coverage on a contract basis. This role involves covering at least 1 or 2 depositions per day, with potential consideration for a salaried position if there is mutual interest.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and defending clients in depositions.
Conducting depositions primarily remotely, with occasional in-person requirements.
Identifying and addressing issues during depositions.
Making objections and providing recommendations to ensure cases progress smoothly and effectively.
Requirements:
Experience in workers' compensation law is preferred. However, training will be provided if necessary.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key issues during depositions.
Professional demeanor and readiness to engage actively during remote sessions.
Compensation:
Pay will be commensurate with experience.
