Location: Hybrid (Altadena, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Indian Wells, and Office-based in West LA)

$35-50 per hour based on experience

Employment Type: 25 hours/week to full time

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing & Event Planner to join our law firm. This individual will play a vital role in strengthening our firm’s visibility, client engagement, and community presence through both in-person and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, marketing, and digital communications, with a strong understanding of professional marketing services.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Management

Plan, coordinate, and execute professional events, including town hall–style meetings (in person and via Zoom), client dinners, firm dinners and community gatherings.

Coordinate client appreciation initiatives, including the planning, selection, and distribution of client gifts.

Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure a polished and professional experience.

Develop and maintain event timelines, budgets, and post-event evaluations.

Perform general administrative duties for the CEO/firm as needed

Development Support

Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and implement marketing initiatives that enhance the firm’s brand and reputation.

Support business development efforts through strategic event programming and community outreach.

Research and identify marketing opportunities within the legal and professional services sectors.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

Manage the firm’s social media presence, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring engagement

Research and implement strategies to increase visibility across platforms

Monitor social media channels and professional community groups, ensuring timely and professional engagement

Collaboration

Work closely with the existing marketing team to ensure consistency of branding and messaging

Provide creative input to align digital and in-person initiatives with firm objectives

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in event planning and marketing; experience in professional services (law firm, finance, consulting, etc.) a plus

Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills

Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices

Ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations

Professional demeanor and client-service orientation
