We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and assist with the PR and marketing efforts for the upcoming independent film, "Paper Flowers." Inspired by the viral article "Thank You, Caner," published in the Huffington Post in 2015, "Paper Flowers" promises to be a poignant exploration of human resilience and the power of redemption.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to generate buzz and awareness for the film.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and interviews.
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content to drive audience engagement.
- Coordinate promotional events, screenings, and press junkets.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in PR, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for independent cinema and storytelling.
Additional Information:
- The film will premiere at the opening gala of "Dances With Films" on June 26 at TCL Mans Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Compensation and film credit will be determined based on the applicant's experience and qualifications.
- Though you can work remotely, a person living in Southern California will be preferred.
