We seek a part-time assistant interior designer to join our team. Hybrid remote/ in-person.
This position does require some driving.
About You
You love interior design and want a long-term position with a small, passionate, and creative team.
You have competency in Adobe creative suite and AutoCAD, and/or ArchiCAD, and/or Revit.
You balance creativity, professionalism, and customer service skills by facilitating efficient research and excellent communication.
You share our interests in architecture, sustainability, wellness, and nature.
You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
You are committed to the highest standards in everything that you do.
You have a degree or have substantially completed coursework in interior design or architecture.
You have 1+ year of professional experience as a residential interior designer or related role.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team creating entire homes, offices, and public spaces as well as furniture, wallpaper, textiles, and light fixtures.
You’ll be involved at every step of the process, assisting the principal designer by overseeing all aspects of the design/construction process from planning to implementation, specifying materials, preparing drawings and presentations, overseeing tradespeople, communicating with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring the outcome meets the design intent.
Hourly pay $23-$26/hr
