We are a motorcycle parts manufacturer located near Downtown Los Angeles that is expanding and looking to add a part time fabricator to our team! Experience not necessary but is preferred, on the job training available for motivated candidates
Responsibilities:
- Cutting, bending, notching metal tubing to prepare parts for welding/ assembly
- Helping with shop upkeep such as cleaning work areas/tools, emptying trash, sweeping up at the end of the day, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, detail oriented and self motivated
- Able to take precision measurements using rulers, tape measure, calipers, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to accurately work from blue prints, sketches and cut lists
- Communicates well with others in a work environment and can follow verbal instructions
- Experience using fabrication tools and machinery preferred
- Experience welding would be excellent but not required, on the job training available
- This is a labor intensive position so you must be able to be active for extended periods of time and able to lift/ move up to 40 lbs
