We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Handler / Fork Lift Operator to join a medium-large beverage company ( MONSTER DRINK) in San Fernando. This company manufactures, bottles, and distributes beverages throughout Southern California.
JOB DESCRIPTION-
POSITION: Material Handler
LOCATION: San Fernando
TYPE: Temp-to-Hire
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment to customers with accuracy and speed.
Receiving: Assist in receiving deliveries, verifying shipments, and ensuring correct storage of items.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and report any discrepancies to management.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided for those without experience).
General Warehouse Duties: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, trash removal, and sanitizing work areas.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Assisting in shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks
Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
Organizing and storing received items in the appropriate locations
Preparing and packaging outgoing shipments
Maintaining inventory records and ensuring inventory accuracy
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Ensuring all shipping and receiving documentation is complete and accurate
Following policies and procedures, including GMPs, to maintain a safe working environment
Communicating with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED:
Prior experience in a warehouse setting (forklift/pallet jack/shrink wrap experience is a plus!).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
Basic math skills required to handle inventory counts and follow simple recipes or instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must!
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish !
JOB TYPE : Full-time, Temp-to-hire
PAY: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
