Monday thru Friday 5am to 1:30pm
$17.90 to $29.80hr depending on experience.
High end manufacturing company producing precision, quality aerospace fasteners is looking for a Hot Forging Press Operator to join their team in Burbank.
Summary: The Hot Forging Press Operator position requires using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes. The operator must handle and move objects using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating items.
Responsibilities:
Ability to study blueprints or other instructions to determine equipment setup requirements.
Ability to maneuver workpieces in equipment during production.
Ability to measure dimensions of completed products or work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Ability to operate metal forming equipment.
Ability to watch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Ability to control operations of equipment or systems.
Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Combination of additional education and experience.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Proficiency with machines.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
