Skilled using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications.
Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined aerospace components.
Document inspection results and generate quality reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and FAIRs.
Familiar with PC-DMIS, AS9100 and Calibration would be a plus.
