Advanced Coating Technologies (ACT) is a 15-year-old Surface Coating company specializing in PVD/CVD & DLC coatings. We are looking for a Full Time Shop Assistant in our Valencia, CA location. If you have manufacturing shop experience, you may be the person we are looking for.
This is a Monday – Friday position. Schedule discussed during time of interview.
The Shop assistant will be trained to assist in various responsibilities under the supervision of our Shop Supervisor/VP of technology. Tasks to include shipping and receiving, quality inspections, cleaning/washing parts, blasting and more.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment; manufacturing assembly is a PLUS!
- Ability to measure, count and inspect incoming parts and tools.
- Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write. Understand detailed drawings and documents.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Must be a team player and able to work with other people.
- Must be able to do and understand basic math. Measuring parts day to day.
- Keeping work area, machines and shop environment clean and organized.
- Sand Blasting experience is a PLUS.
- STRONG attention to detail, the ability to focus and inspect parts during every process.
- Able to perform other duties when assigned.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Bilingual is a PLUS!
